This winter I will be teaching a 3-week Tropical Ethnobotany Field Course in Bocas del Toro, Panama for the Institute of Tropical Ecology and Conservation (ITEC) for undergraduate and graduate students.
I have been teaching college Biology courses for The City University of New York (CUNY) since 2005. At Lehman College in the Bronx I have taught: Plants and People, Human Biology, and Anatomy and Physiology. I am also currently teaching a course called Nature of New York for the CUNY Online Baccalaureate, which is part of the CUNY School for Professional Studies.
I also occasionally teach for The New York Botanical Garden’s Continuing Education Department. Most recently I taught Introduction to Plant Science to the students in the Horticultural Therapy Certificate program.
